Ok, I have just spoken to Ivan who is a deadset champ.
He left a message on DJ's phone about this then called me.
Ivan and the Mariners have managed to get 200 seats at the back of Bay 11 roped off for the Marinators.
All you need to do is buy a ticket for bays 9, 10 and 11 and you can move into this area.
A GA ticket will not get you in this area.
Now at least the Marinators are all together and given how you gusy squash together 200 seats will probably equate to 300 people.
Ivan has worked really hard and has phoned hundreds of people for this to happen.
Everyone owes him a beer.
Also, Newcastle have made no arrangements for the Squadron and there are even Squadron members phoning Ivan (who used to work at United) to see if he can help them.
MARINATORS = BACK OF BAY 11

Ivan you champ!!!
It actually doesn't surprise me he would go to those efforts to gather us together, he hates Uknighted, and now we can offend them as effectively as possible!

Also, Newcastle have made no arrangements for the Squadron and there are even Squadron members phoning Ivan (who used to work at United) to see if he can help them. That's an absolute classic! Away supporters asking for help with their own scum club. Sums up Uknighted beautifully! And STILL they can't understand why I'd rather be following the Mariners! Top stuff Ivan!

Now all we need is for CC Stadium management to have "all" Newcastle GA ticket holders down the other end of the ground on either side of the concourse in the GA areas down there at the Palm Tree end of the ground. The entire Bowling Club end should be for 'local' Mariner supporting GA ticket holders. If they don't like that then they can buy Cat B or Blue Seats and sit on the sides.
This didn't happen during the season as the crowd numbers of traveling away fans coming to the coast didn't justify it happening as it was supposed to happen in the WCQ and PSC.
But, this is FINALS were talking about here!
"There will be No Marinators on the Hill in the cheap seats! which is where we would prefer to stand and cheer. Newcastle Stadium have dictated to us where we sit, even when we buy Cat B seats (Bays 9,10,11).
CC Stadium is going to be a sell out next Friday nite and that whole end, including the "Legendary Bay 16", should be and will be a "Sea of Yellow", if Stadium Management allow it to happen
If there Newcastle Stadium can dictate to us where we sit , why can't our Home Stadium do the same to them. All it takes is for security at our end to say "Sorry fellas your down over there on that side OR down over there on that side!" Easy, Easy, Easy!
Ivan and Monique (CCStadium), get together and please get this sorted before the game of the year!
If locals know they can buy a ticket, a GA ticket, and be sitting either side of the glorious "Bay 16" and support the Mariners, side by side with other locals who wouldn't want to sit there. Use it as a marketing tool and put a map in the Express showing where they can sit for the best seat in the house.
Come on and get organised!

Well said RR. So how about it Monique? You have the power to liase with security and the Mariners and make this happen. All bays behind the goal would then truly be 'Sea of Yellow' !
