Canberra Road Trip! APRIL 9 Canberra Marathon! What, no takers? Bowls would be OK, can just see the Marinators going to New Dehli 2010 and becoming Commonwealth Champions, Mick Molloy would have to be our captain

I rather obviously was referring to a marathon taking place in Canberra, I'll assume you're being sarcastic. Your commentary today almost made lawn bowls worth watching... almost.

could we use the bowling club at gosford stadium? they have a synthetic green which means you can wear any footwear the old guys at gosford are really nice and very welcoming that should obviously be our first choice given that they are part of the leagues club

I am assuming that most of the Marinators will be at the Anzac Day Races at Gosford Racecourse. We had a great day there last year, and I don't gamble! She Who Must Be Obeyed was in bliss, avid punter that she is. Lots of fun, lots of beers, playing two-up, it is all part of a great day organised by our colleagues at Campus Central.
A large Marinator contingent is expected for a huge day at the races.
Onto bowling. Yes, with lots of us being members at CCLC, why don't we arrange a Bowls Day or Night in the next 6-8 weeks? The thought of us hooligans carrying on like crazy fools at the Bowlo is very enticing!!
Then, there is a Hunter Valley Wineries Tour. Any takers there?
Cheerio,
AM
