Well thank goodness the FFA is doing what the ref AND linesmen didn't do! I'm content he's been brought to answer the charge. If he can somehow explain how he stepped on Sully's ankle when Sully was just lying on the ground after a challenge, and Reddy only had to walk the ball up, then fine. But I think he may get a suspension.
Football Federation Australia (FFA) appointed Disciplinary Arbitrator, Tony O'Reilly, today found Newcastle Jets player, Liam Reddy, not guilty on a charge of violent conduct. The charge arose following an incident involving Central Coast Mariners player, Wayne O’Sullivan in the 91st minute of the 1st leg of the Hyundai A-League Minor Semi-Final match between the Newcastle Jets and Central Coast Mariners at EnergyAustralia Stadium.
Liam Reddy will be available to participate in the 2nd Leg of the Hyundai A-League Minor Semi-Final against the Central Coast Mariners at Central Coast Stadium on Friday the 17th of February, 2006.
