Squadron has just had word from the FFA that having fun at Central Coast Stadium has been banned.
Confetti - banned Drums - banned Docket Rockets - banned Excessive sound - banned.
This is shit.
Is it like this at every CC game, or is this an FFA thing?

If ya bothered to turn up at one of the matches here, you'd already know what the norms are. BTW, don't throw shit like confetti or docket rolls onto the pitch. Unlike your sandpit, ours is a well prepared ground, and we respect the rights of the players to play unhindered, OK?

Thanks for answering my question.
Although I have been to CC Stadium 3 times this season and never had problems like this.
Shame that you guys couldn't leave your immature insults out of this though.

you were the one who kicked off the thread with "no fun" .. funny, the two best nights of the season at CCStadium have involved Newcastle. Penalties and what was it on New Years Eve again?

As bad as the respect the game officials code!

As bad as the respect the game officials code! nobody's going to stop singing, nor are they going to stop singing "who's the bastard in the black", nor are they going to sit down, stop jumping up and down like loons when we score nor stop giving shit to the away fans... i'm all for things that make sense - the confetti thing is a bit dumb; the docket rockets (like all other projectiles) potentially dangerous; flares really dangerous; racism, sexism and other exclusionary behaviour makes the place much less comfortable... that's fine. they're rules that don't make you do anything that completely negates what being at the football is about. excessive noise though? check my avatar - i'm practically an OH&S hazard by myself, let alone when with hundreds of equally loud comrades...

excessive sound may be refering to things such as those big black horn things and other stuff such as whistles. i used to take my whistle, but soon realised that it was shit and didnt belong at the football, and either do the horns

Even if it is off key at times ;D

Had my FFA briefing today crook, trust me excesive sound is not chanting, and I don't know what it is (I'll guess drums) so please feel free to sing, it'll add atmosphere which is what we all want.
Confetti & Docket Rockets were always banned at this stadium so they didn't need to tell you that, it's a condition of entry that you don't bring projectiles and they'd count, sorry but they're the rules.

I hope the little scum who keeps blowing that whistle at EAS doesnt get allowed out by his mum - of all the things not to bring into a ground, a whistle is top of my list. Every time you hear it you look at the ref to see whats going on.
In all honesty, I dont think confetti, drums etc are offensive and the rule is a bit petty. group of schoolkids chucking paper - whats the harm?

Except to the feelings of some little scummers. I couldn't give a shit about the confetti etc, I'm all for it in fact, and started the paradise threat as a joke. But anything that says the opposite of a red carpet welcome for them when they come down is fine by me when it comes down to it.

Did someone really ring the stadium about them? I wouldn't have thought any of us would go that low.. But I've gotta say it's funny seeing their reaction. Like they only go to throw paper around and have a f***in jam session.. Hello! (as John Howard would say) ... theres a FOOTBALL GAME ON.

I cant wait to see all 30 or 40 of them in 2 whole bays............be interesting if they have to sit in with a sea of yellow and blue - will their area be roped off for them??
At least security/police at EAS had us all in one place and I didnt see any unpleasantness but I think that the bay 22 and 23 decision is crazy - At the scoreboard end would be logical and mean less work for security

Is it like this at every CC game, or is this an FFA thing? I would say this is primarily due to a) the expected crowd size b) the Newcastle fans are near the family area We have had issues in the past with security about mainly language, which is what I would suggest they are refering to. Any swearing and they will only give you 1 warning. Agree with Kevrenors comment but the sound won't be an issue as long as there is no f*** shit boolocks or c**t
