Ideally I wouldnt change a thing. Keep people coming and going as they please. HOWEVER, if we keep cramming as many people in there as we did last week it is only a matter of time before someone gets seriously hurt. Too many people jumping, pushing, hugging etc. For that reason we need to do something I believe On that point I agree - I coped a few elbows to the head due to a bit of exuberant celebration and more than a few people almost fell on the seats in front...we need to either spread out or forward

I voted no because it will definetly discourage people from joining you. I would like to think that when i am with the all my kids i can sit in the stands and when i am with only my son we can join the Marinators for part or all of the game. If it was reserved seating that option would be gone.

its a hard call to make- u cant just ban the annoying little kids and the even worse girly girls and their bfs... they're fans too and should be able to support their team however they want to...
but as aforementioned, they're annoying... they take room away from true marinators, who have to find alternative seats away from bay 16
i had 2 sit down the front 4 last wks game... IN FRONT of the annoying children, who were sitting for most of the game, didnt chant @ all and complained coz they couldnt see... my mates and i considered moving, but there was nowhere to move to...
maybe the solution isnt reserved tickets? maybe all the marinators have 2 wear the shirt, or yellow @ least? most of those little kids wear whatever their mums make them wear...
im surprised parents let their kids lose anywhere near 16... the marinators arent exactly prime babysitting material...

A few LARGE signs in the entry's to bays 15,16 and 17 stating that: If you sit in this area you are expected to- -wear yellow -sing -chant -clap Anyone who feels they are unable to do this please sit elsewhere! *******people who do not follow the rules will be moved on! Just a suggestion.

Very interesting all of this! We always said right from the begining that the idea was to start in bay 16 and then SPREAD OUT to 15 & 17 and even the whole gosford end! Those who occupy 16 however should be at a minimum, in yellow (prefereably mariners shirt or similar) and also expected to stand and SING! As far as the kiddies down the front? Remember that in a few years, thats who'll be joining you in the kendall/sports bar and the future of the club! And if they are joining in, I don't care how old they are, let em have fun too....BUT..It is annoying to see them taking up valuable bay 16 space and not participating and if I was in the position where I was having to stand down the front and got some little piss ants telling me they couldnt see.....well, 'fireworks' is all I can say! A sign put up saying that these bays are for standing, singing and wearing yellow is a great idea and I for one suggested the flyer a long time ago. Welcome the newbies, but just tell em what is expected....easy! For the record, I am against formally restricting bay 16 (for now) as the crowds grow, it may need to be looked at again.
