No need to worry there Jaime. I've organised for x3 Megaphones, shoulder strap style with C.B style microphones, 15 watts and I think they come with horns which will help get the "x9 claps Mariners" chant going and whatever else. Was hoping some of you guys could organise print-outs of songs on a sheet, double sided, say about 10 songs,to hand out on the trains. We'd have the 3 megs go through each carriage (top/bottom) with the Mega's on low and have some singing lessons for CC people travelling down. Will help them learn the words and the timing of songs. If a few people, 10-20 the more the better(hand out at ground then), could post that they'd be willing to print out 25 or 50 copies each of these , from say one 'Song Sheet' that they could download off Marinators.net, we'd have heaps for all those that need one. Similar to what Rubbernose did with the fanzines, everybody did 25-50 each and handed out b 4 game. Anyone? ??

I'm able to print maybe 50 song sheets. I'll have to get them to someone else to hand out though 'cos I'll be in Sydney from early morning.
Just let me know where to find the final list of songs. Cheers.

Top effort...I agree completely with dibo.
Half the time we have enough trouble coordinating the songs across 1 bay (I noticed that especially at the Jets away semi) - often that's because a song may start at the front because everybody else has quietened down, but the back witll then start up another chant before the front chant works it's way back...
We've all noticed it at Bay 16 as well, a few different people trying to lead different songs at once...
It'll happen again on the weekend - but with the efforts you guys are going to it certainly sounds like the fractured singing will be kept to a minimum.
Just one thought though (and I know that with the little association I actually have with any of you guys it probably isn't my place to make suggestions like this - but then again, maybe I'm not the first to suggest it) - considering that we're trying to spread the singing across 5 bays - and considering how many families with children will be amongst those 5 bays - do you think we should try and completely cut the swearing out of our songs? we've cut it out of a couple, but it's still present in some.....'can you hear sydney sing' and 'everywhere we go' are the two that come to mind, can't think of any others.

everywhere we go? as in we must be bloody deaf? give me a break! but yeah other than that, i agree aboutthe swearing. keep to minimum. i have a feeling we wont be 'not hearing sydney sing'.

lol, good point. Since when do we since 'bloody' deaf? Everytime I've heard it it's been 'f*****g' deaf.
Unless 2 parts of Bay 16 are singing different words there?
I would've actually substituted 'bloody' in for 'f*****g' anyway, bloody isn't a swear word but still has the same effect.....
'he's here, he's there, he's every f*****g where, Andrew Clarke, Andrew Clarke!' is another one that comes to mind.
Oh well, at least we don't do 'get into 'em! f*** 'em up!' anymore! lol (well, we do, just a toned down version).
I reckon we should be so loud that we literally WON'T be able to hear Sydney sing....lol...well, that's what we're all aiming for anyway

i dont know about anyone else but i use bloody in " must be (insert expletive here) deaf!" and it sounds like everyone else does too.
just like get into them is now predominantly responded with BUST EM UP

Well, I'm not going to argue - but in my bit of Bay 16 I can still hear predominantly 'f******''
And I don't THINK my hearing is that far gone ;-)
