Serious poll and serious question.
Donny Parkes has been a champion this year and I think as a gesture we should shout him a ticket.
It is some big dollars out of the Marinators account.
On the other hand if people vote "No" then I will be happy to chip in $10 or $20 towards his ticket.

Whilst I respect EVERYONE'S right to an opinion, would the person who voted no please reconsider in the light of: *The man is our patron *The man is football royalty *The man is clearly not well and yet always turns up *THE MAN IS OUR PATRON AND SHOULD BE TREATED ACCORDINGLY Mr Parkes will go to the awards night. If the Marinators vote no, Mick, I'm in for $20.00. What do the rest of you (who earn a wage) have to say?

Only a student, but will chip in with something if it doesn't come from the Marinators funds. Either that or we can chip in a get him a haircut

He should be in attendance without a doubt. I am willing to chip in should the unthinkable happen. Many reasons why he should be there. Not least because he is our patron, which he is extremely proud of, and he is a true gent.

I think anyone who has spent a bit of time chatting to Donny would come to appreciate the knowledge of the game and the first hand experiences Mr. Parkes has had with football. This is a guy who is very proud to be included amongst us, and honoured to be our patron. He certainly adds some prestige and credibility to The Marinators, given his lifelong connection with football.

I have had many enjoyable conversations with Donny throughout the season, the man is a dead-set legend and I'm proud to know him and I'm proud he's our patron.

Gotta come out of the marinators funds. He is OUR patron for gods sake! No question. Also gotta be in the running for 'inaugural Marinator of the year' award?
