The atmosphere - the best ever seen at Bluetongue Stadium. The travelling support - phenomenal, now THAT'S a derby. The game - a pleasure to watch, even for a neutral. Now I know that the 2nd leg of the semi-final was more 'important' so to speak, but never have I cheered, cried, and been so damn excited in Bay 16 as I was tonight. My thread that I started a few weeks ago about standing up and turning corners as a supporters group - guys (and gals), not only did you meet my expectations of what we're able to do, but you exceeded them in a way I didn't forsee that was possible from us for another few years. The only way is up from here for the Mariners. Australia - the Mariners are here to stay. Marinators - I'm proud to call each and every single one of you fellow supporters, what I experienced tonight was phenomenal. Sydney - well played, but sorry lads, we wanted it more. We needed it more. I look forward to the rematch in December.

The singing and chanting from both camps looked amazing from the stands last night. It was good to see the cove show up the way they did and contribute so much to the atmosphere.
We really needed a night like that to get some confidence back in the team and also bring the crowds back. There is nothing better than running north in the second half with strong crowd support to bring the boys home. When we score in situations like that is sounds like the roof is going to cave in.
I have no issue in singing the praises of an opposition team, player, or supporter group when i think its deserved. How good was that free kick from Carbone! Before he took it he carefully counted his steps back and angle off the ball. That was no ass, it was pure class. I was surprised he came off the field.

Hmmm wouldn't say the greatest night in Mariners history, but in terms of crowd involvement and atmosphere it would have to be up there among the best.

Is that our second or third best crowd ever? The atmosphere was fantastic, and more mariners fans should turn up to replace the Cove for next week's match against Perth.

Atmosphere was great! Its good to see the cove bring to many supporters down with them, i'd say that there were equal amounts of the marinators and 'the cove' which is excellent. 11,567 is a great crowd, its great to see so many people turnng up to watch the boys play. Wasnt our best crowd 17,000 or something?

what happened to the party mate? It went ahead in a most rowdy manner at my house...... I don't remember much, but I know it was fun!!!! (as evidenced by the 9/10ths empty Vodka bottle on my bench) ;D

what an atmosphere. A great display on and off the field (besides the racism)
