I spent years watching Super Leeds play and then had to suffer the through ball mentality of Dundee United for 6 years. Now soccer has arrived and I trek with my kids to the game I am disappointed in what I see yes we have the raw ball skills; yes the defence lokks sound, but the q/land goalkeeper could have sat on a stool knitting for the 1st half and the score would have been the same fancy passing means squat when you're 10 metres outside the box. moving the ball forward ,drawing a defender and creating space is the name of the game. viz watch steve macmanaman or kewell or cise. Only when gumpy came on did the work rate increase and he made space for the wing to get behind the defence. Pumping balls up the middle is easy to defend. So wake up manager its your fault your tactics are not making the best of the talent!!!!!!!! P.s. see u at the next game but beware, listening to the crowd they are losing interest; the 1st 1/2 yesterday was a BORE.

Fair comments, even Lawrie called it 'shit' in the first half - but in his defence we haven't had a recognised striker on the park for most games and our playmakers have been out or playing up front! Some of that you can blame the bloke who selected the squad for - the rest is divine providence. Stick in there!
