Yep the bagpiper was near us in about bay 40! He did a great job and helped with the atmosphere up there. Think it was a different bloke from usual. My son has requested we sit in bay 16 for the final, so we will be there at least for one half! Bring it on!

Fantastic night...what a clown Muscat is...if Melbourne are thinking of getting rid of Merrick perhaps they should look first at Muscat. He is captain and therefore, one would suppose, a leader, but what a poor example he sets. He was dirty in the warm-up. He was dirty in the game. He was unsporting and deserved two yellows, one for impeding Stew' at the penalty kick and the second time for throwing mud in the air, when our free kick was taken at the other end. Luckily, on that occasion he fell over, for some reason, put all his own defenders off their game and allowed us to score. So the joke was on him. He just needs size 20 boots and a red nose to complete the outfit!

Bagpipes was above the Toshiba sign on the Tunnel side of the ground, was going strong for the night.
The chat that got the biggest laugh from the other stretcher bearers was 'never make the finals' I'm just happy we're in the finals before the QLD trip.

Everyone has already summed it up..........but those of you expecting a bigger crowd just remember this...........first game we had 5,500 and second game 5,200, from the start of the season to the finish we have basically doubled it in our first season. Things can and will get bigger and better but for me the seeing the record broken 3 times in a season was awesome.

And considering the population of our market I guess we should be thankful. The Paper Aeroplanes are claiming bragging rights to the bet per capita attendence on their forum, but as I've pointed out - their figures (as usual) are dodgy. I doubt I'll ever be fully happy unless it's a regular sellout!

Big night, wasn't it? Wow, that was great! And I'm not tragically hungover, unlike a few others, I suspect!! AM Who had a chance to be hung-over, I know of 7 marinaters myself included who were still celebrating the win at 1pm on the Saturday. And that was only celebrating a finals berth. When we win the comp they will have to shut the main street of Gosford and will all drink for a week. ;D ;D ;D

If we win the GF there is no way in hell I'll work for 3 days (already got 2 of them off, hahaha)

He works in a call centre and had no voice when he went in and got sent home at 1pm cause he couldn't speak anymore. Now there's some commitment
