ticketmaster website - shithouse! can't handle away bays, can't handle .pdf tickets, all-round useless.
ticketek website - easy as pie! follow the links, select your tickets, fill in the details and bang - you're set. gold.

Bought my tickets for Newcastle. Two visits half an hour each (and I am still not sure if I am going to the opera). Bought my tickets for Gosford 30seconds, no probs. Ticketmaster are the problem not the FFA (well not totally) and definitely not the poor people at the outlets.

There have been no problems through ticketek, even though their notice was just as late. So the problem is with ticketmaster, and the poor staff cant be blamed because they were clearly not prepared or briefed at all. It's either the FFA for not realising how underprepared they were, or just their crappy systems (which look like DOS) that are too shit to work with.

The Old girl at Laycock is in need for some counseling if she's to ever recover.

Somewhere between 'The ABC's Day Care and Pre-Pubescent' Think Dad still wants him to do another year in Govt funded Day Care before considering a move back to Channel Nine.

Mrs 'cake kindly conceded to drop in to Laycock this arvo for me. Got 'em (correct) inside of 10 mins without any fuss, one person in front of her. She did comment on the IT appearance.
BTW I've seen the Ticketeck outlet screens and they look pretty DOS-ish too.

What got me was the fact that there were 4 old dears behind the counter, 2 reading the paper and one obviously avoiding the queue while the poor ticketmaster woman was running around like an idiot.
That system looks like it ought to be in the Powerhouse

Just went and got tickets at the Laycott.
What a lovely bunch of ladies. They were so adorable.
They all said that Lawrie McKinna is their hero and they want to start up a Lawrie fan club.
They said they swoon everytime they hear his voice.
Incidently was lining for tickets with Browny's mum. She said they boys are tired but pumped.
Let's hope not too tired.

I went in there to buy tickets for the Melbourne F1 Grand Prix last year, and they told me I could get a 4 day pass for 1 stand (out of 12), or a single day GA ticket for Friday or Saturday (no thursday, race day sunday or 4 day pass). I rang ticketmaster and they gave me the codes for the 4 day GA passes I wanted that I then had to give to the ladies at Laycock St for them to give me the tickets.
