Well what an experience that was..................I turned up with 2 people in front of me and waited the best part of an hour - what a joke. She had no idea about ticketing, where Mariners were sitting or how to use their circa 1987 DOS system.
I told her I wanted away support and she ended up giving me GA tickets - I am trying to decide whether to put myself through the ordeal again or just spend the evening behind a goal.
I dropped a line to the club (although it is clearly not their fault) because to say that Laycock/ticketmaster are causing ill will is being nice. The poor woman was doing her level best but had been given no briefing on what the hell she was supposed to do.
The other thing that really impresses is only one of the windows is ticketmaster, the other is Laycock only so one poor woman has a huge queue and the other one gleefully tells everyone "I am nothing to do with them".
Is there going to be a part of the GA section reserved for Mariners or where we might congregate???

For what it's worth, I went this afternoon, and was done in 4-5 minutes. Correct tickets and all.
Maybe after the initial morning surprise that they were going to get business, they got it all sussed out.

I am going to face it again tomorrow to try to get the GA tickets swapped for a seat in our section.
Dont fancy 90 mins of being surrounded by those scum - I am not confident my temper would last the night.

Buy your ticket over the phone. Its quick and easy and doesnt take that long to line up at the stadium.

Buy them over the phone if you haven't already. Took 2 mins and you can specify which bay you want (e.g. bay 10 if you want to stand and sing)

Yea Today wasn't too bad, she's just got to realise that no one going for Away bay gives a smeg what the number says on the ticket if they're vocal they'll stand at the back of bay 9 (not 10, Alcohol free)

Got my ticket this arvo, one woman in front of had to be refunded her 6 tickets "3 times" and 40 mins later, b 4 the old girl got it right. Got a ticket for Bay10, thinking that was where we were last time and gave it to me telling me it was alcohol free! I asked to change it to Bay9(my fault) after quickly ringing Fish to confirm this was true. A mate from CCSA walked in to get his and told him I'd been here for about an hour and muttered to him that TicketMaster were useless and next minute the poor old dear started crying! and said it's not her fault that this was the first game they had done and FFA hadn't provided much info for them to work with. Quickly apologised that it should've been directed at the FFA and not her, thought she worked for Laycock and they just handled distribution. She was all sweetness & light after that.
