If Spencer wasnt there (dropped/injured/suspended or whatever) who would play the holding MF role??? i'd give O'Grady a go!

I would not replace spenny with vuko. vuko hasnt impressed me. And ozzy has been a bit inconsistant for me. I dont see either of them doing enough to push spenny out.

Mori is a great signing. Too be honest I'm suprised we didn't sign him last year (I know we tried to get him on loan but he chose Perth) instead of Kwasnik. Ferguson admitted to me that we were a bit light up front but told me Kwasnik was the bollocks and would score alot of goals. 1 year on and i'm still waiting. I think Kwas is one of those blokes that looks sharp at training but can't reproduce that form on match day. I would seriously think about cutting Mdja. I keep hearing reports that he is very very unprofessional about getting back on the paddock (Bosnich anyone?). I reckon we can get 2 years out of Mori.

Isn't he commuting from Adelaide to each game?
I believe he loves what he does and is enjoying being a Mariner atm but doesn't sound like he's free (from various other commitments) to be a permanent signing here for even 1 year.

Unprofessional? Hes busting his ass to get fit at the moment I watch them train every Tuesday, yeah hes struggled to get back we all know that but I cant wait to see if he can reproduce what he was doing before he got injured

Simple, I thought he was great before he was injured, but I can't believe that it can take so long to get over an injury.
I'm frustrated because we keep hearing that he is ready to play. Glad to hear he is training well but the rumours were quite solid but I'll be cheering if he does make it back soon.
Cheers
Wombat
p.s. Congrats on winning Div 4 with Kariong.

What's the story with Mori?
I heard somewhere earlier in the week he had been signed for another three weeks. Total Football last night and in todays telegraph says tonight is most likely his last game.
Why hasn't he been signed for Gumps?

I also heard that Syd may be looking to sign Mori, although I think thats unlikely as they will prob look for someone a little more high profile.

And Australias all-time domestic and international goalscoring legend isnt good enough? If we dont sign him on we are nuts.....do whatever we can CCM management to keep him at the club

Mmmm iv heard roumors as well, id personaly love to see him become a permanent part of the team, i mean the guy's awesome! we really would be idiots not to sign him for at least another season. Also has any1 suggested that we sign him for longer in the board/bench forum? *EDITJust posted a thread to the board, more people post in that thread, more likely we get to keep him

Them two up front, and with Gumps and Tommy in top form, we would be unstoppable!
