For those who couldnt catch it
He loved his time in Perth, Is loving the town of Gosford Was good to see the crowds in CC grow this season Is not liking being not involved in finals as every season in Aus so far hes been in some. Has one year on his contract left - Will honour it if club still want him Injury took him longer then expected to recover from - Was thrown into deep end into games with injury some times...Is now 100% fit He said that Lawrie Mckinna and the coaching staff were under rpessure to perform as well as season 1...Injuries made it tough but they done well with what they had. Was a frustrating season for Nik Mrdja - Same thing with Tommy P with his niggling injuries made it tough to stay fit with them. Australian league isnt best to play in if you are an injured player due to shortness of season but that just adds importance on making sure your body is right for the season. He loves Perth and would love to play for the Glory again at some stage - One of his favourite cities bes even lived in...Very very good memories...Said it could be a few months said it could be a few years...Who knows.

I think him saying that he'll honour the last year of his contract here is a very bad sign. He might as well just say he'll join Perth after the next season. I think he's a player that the club can't afford to lose.

^^Agreed^^
He has to be the imo the most vital cog in our team. When gumpers is out our team fails to play to its potential

if i might add my 5c, i don't think it's something to worry overly much about.
gumper's getting on, and won't be a top player forever. if he sets himself for a big year with us, but we also use the time he's here to gain as much as possible out of it for our young up-and-comers like jedinak, porter and osman then we'll be able to bid him farewell with no real hard feelings. then we'll also have three great players under the age of 25 who will hopefully be ready to take that step up and lead the midfield line themselves.
i don't think you should really begrudge a footballer who wants to move for family reasons if they do their best for the shirt while they're here and they fulfil the requirements of their contract.

Dibo - Gumps will see out his contract if the club wants him to, we may not see him in Mariners colours in season 3

Dibo - Gumps will see out his contract if the club wants him to, we may not see him in Mariners colours in season 3 so, i guess it is up to whether the club will release him from his contract early there is certainly speculation on the perth forum that this might happen and the rumours i have heard are getting stronger releasing gumpy, spencer and o'sullivan certainly cuts the wage bill dramatically to me this points to putting vidmar under the salary cap and going for a marquee striker, plus one other expensive striker

"to me this points to putting vidmar under the salary cap and going for a marquee striker, plus one other expensive striker" - I could live with that, as long as Jedinak is signed for Spencer and a replacement playmaker (playmaker, not just midfielder) is signed for Gumps- who's distributing through to the marquee strikers?

Anymore news on Mark Bridge being signed from the scum. I've heard he's been offered a big deal from us.
