Did anyone see Heff's throw on the weekend?
It was massive and stayed at head height the whole way.
Looks like he has developed a new throw-in while overseas and no doubt will come in very handy this season.

Handy indeed, particularly with the likes of O'Grady, Mrdja etc....around.
Not as impressive, mind you, as the guy who used to manage a forward roll as part of his long throw-in technique. Can't remember exactly where I saw him...pretty sure he played for the Faore Islands or Estonia or one of these small countries that Scotland always embarass themselves against.

Hmm I assume the roll was before the throw in not afterwards.

Yep, he'd run up, do the forward roll and then launch the ball forward as he was standing back up again.....honestly, he did exist....I've not been drinking....today....yet.....

The master of throw ins was a guy called Dave Challinor from Tranmere Rovers, his throws were long, fast and as good as a corner! Tried to find a video on youtube but had no luck!

Have seen Graham Toope (Mariners Academy,CCLightning,Wyoming PL1) on many occassion throw to well inside the 18 yard box. Some may remember him coming on for the Mariners when they played CC Lightning at Pluim. Pollock told me he has seen him hit the 6 yard and is referred to as "Slingers" or "Sling-Back". Whereas Pollock is referred to as "Broke-Back"
