I sure hope the crowds are much bigger than the one i saw the other day. That was dismal. 3500 come on coast. Get behind the mariners.

Sunday arvo and game meant nothing (except fitness and match sharpness) - If we attract a crowd that size during the season I'll be shocked and concerned.
A few too many Sunday games during the season thou for my liking, in the past they have not been as popular as a Friday or Saturday night............let's hope it's different this year and we can crack the 10k figure.

I agree DJ.....a few Sunday afternoon games are fine, but from looking at the fixtures list, there's hardly any on Friday night or Saturday. Just wondering if there's any reason for that - was it a preference indicated by the Mariners to the FFA? Also wondering how the hell we're going to persuade the owner of the curry house to open up for Sunday games......toughie.....

Sunday games suck, if it was about lunch time it'd be better though.
