Every Thursday the FFA sends out really interesting stats compiled by Sportsdata Pty Ltd.
A really interesting one leaps out to me:
06/07 Completed Crosses 1. Lazaridis 29 2. Bertos 24 (if only Perth had a decent striker last season!) 3. Damian Brown 23 3. Dodd 23 5. Griffiths
All time A-League Completed Crosses 1. Coyne 41 2. Dodd 41 3. Ceccoli 38 4. Alagich 37 5. D Brown 36 5. Corica 36
Just shows how good a crosser and set piece taker Browny is!
To me he really must be in the starting eleven on the left with Heff.
Oh, and Spencer is listed number on the all-time "Shots Off Target" tally with 50. Allsop leads it with 61.

Good on ya, Stewie P! 90 fouls - for a striker, that's a pretty decent effort....just a shame a few more of them weren't on Muscat!

Another interesting stat i found, although not really valid since it comes from foxsports and god knows what algorithm they are using to work these numbers out, but anyway our new boy Mcandrew, according to the fantasy a-league ranking system is on par with the likes of Seo from roar, Spagnuolo from Adelaide and even our very own mighty Jedinak on 7 points, this can be interestingly contrasted with the other young kid we were gonna sign Evan Berger, who is sitting on a modest 5.5 points...

Coyne 41 The fact that the Glory are so high on the completed crosses list is rather worrying IMO. Like you said Mick, last season they didn't really have a decent serial striker. However, this season it could be a different story with Mate Dragicevic and Nikita Rukavytsya up front for them. Half an hour into their opening game against the Scum, it looks to be working because the Glory have had some decent chances, coming from crosses.
