Well that was a VERY solid start.
My observations:
1. Calm down Danny!
2. Boogs & wilko were immense.
3. Osman was superb at right back....not a huge fan of playing middies in specialist defensive positions..but if he keeps that form up...its his spot for the year.
4. Jedi & Gumpey look the business as a central mid pairing(bookimng will be the only problem).
5. Nik & Saho will be the bollocks this year.
6. Very suprised Kwasnik was picked in front of Pondeljak. Kwas was the only mariner who didn't look top draw tonight.
7. Heffernan looks like a much better player after a year in europe. More confident on the ball and passing much sharper. He impressed me.
Great performance and we should make it 6 pts next week against the Kiwi's.
