Apparently The Smiling Assassin is still upset with Sydney FC and will consider commuting to the Central Coast if he returns to the A-League. Adding weight to the rumours is Yorke’s close links to former SFC director Peter Turnbull, who has recently invested in the Gosford-based club. Having already signed want-away Sydney striker Sasho Petrovski in the off-season, the Mariners are also chasing the club’s now defunct moniker – The Glamour Club – and have labelled themselves Bling FC. WTF???

pfft - blogs
take everything with more than a grain of salt
when this rumour starts sprouting from davutovic's mouth/words at the telegraph i will certainly start to notice as his close association with lyall means that he often gets the scoops
this is why i am taking the elrich rumour and his story very seriously

Old rumor, will believe it when I see him on the park wearing yellow. Really doubt it will happen though probably just something to stir up talk in Sydney.
although the last line about us winning the title I will believe every year! ;D
At the end of the day this is from a paper who is still calling the sport soccer, they probably can't even spell uneducated.

plus dwight would probably be a bit too old by then as well. The CC seems to be doing just fine as it is so far this season. Handy lead only two rounds in!

"The Mariners are also chasing the club’s now defunct moniker – The Glamour Club – and have labelled themselves Bling FC. "
That part just looked completely made-up

Dwight won't join us!! He has started every EPL game I've witnessed for Sunderland, there is no way he will just quit and leave.
Even if his contract expires at the end of the season, he'll be almost be 37! It won't happen IMO!!!!

If people think that the Dwight Yorke rumour is bullsh*t, how about this rumour from Football Rumours This Actually made me laugh! This is the same website that published a supposed offer From Sunderland for Alex Brosque!

Nice to see some rumours around but these are utter rubbish!
IMO we don't really need another player unless they are a crowd puller!

Id rather the mariners didnt get Dwight Yorke or get tagged as the next Glamour Club or Bling FC. It really goes against the Central Coast or CCM values

Meh, just another coast-hating self-important latte-sipping tosser who thinks what he says matters because he works for a tabloid. Quite pathetic actually....lol Rumours of Yorke coming to CC have been around for a long time. Personally, he's a player I don't want. I don't even think we would have a place for him - I don't think his playing style would fit into the team that's really starting to gel together, and we don't have any need for a player like that now that we've got Petrovski. Although if you want to read something even more moronic and uninformed than the blog - try reading the reader comments

Its definately not going to happen and he wouldn't be a good signing for us now.
