Apparently The Smiling Assassin is still upset with Sydney FC and will consider commuting to the Central Coast if he returns to the A-League. Adding weight to the rumours is Yorke’s close links to former SFC director Peter Turnbull, who has recently invested in the Gosford-based club.

Dwight won't join us!! He has started every EPL game I've witnessed for Sunderland, there is no way he will just quit and leave.

Even if his contract expires at the end of the season, he'll be almost be 37! It won't happen IMO!!!!

Overheard Central Coast Mariners (Australia) management about securing a player / coaching role for Harry Kewell. Apparently Harry's injuries won't heal properly and he cannot commit to the pace of EPL. A–league have agreed to subsidise this move to start to get more big name players back to Australia.

Rumours of Yorke coming to CC have been around for a long time. Personally, he's a player I don't want. I don't even think we would have a place for him - I don't think his playing style would fit into the team that's really starting to gel together, and we don't have any need for a player like that now that we've got Petrovski.

Although if you want to read something even more moronic and uninformed than the blog - try reading the reader comments
