Thats fantastic to see how a couple wins from the boys has caught the attention of Arnold and the only aussie team for the argentina friendly to have two players in the squad

Boogs was absolutely fantastic last night. Even Cockhead paused in his exhortations to Qld to score to praise him.
On Fox, Slater looked like he was going to hurl he was so upset but Ange praised Boogs.

I"M FIRED THE FCUK-UP!
Boog's plays well beyond his 21 years and is starting to make Viddy look ordinary. I said pre-season he was a 'goer' for the Olyroo's, great to see the selector's reward his recent form.
Dippa as well, to think last year people on here were bagging him before he even stepped between the sticks, saying he won't be a shoe-shine on Danny. I've known him & watched him for years at Lightning and still reckon he's a better 'shot-stopper' than Danny, that is if we were in a penalty shoot-out I'd rather Matty than Danny every time.
Don't get me wrong, Danny IS still the better keeper at this point in time, his physical strength, fearless-ness combined with the confidence and 'time' out there on the paddock still put's some distance between our 2 keeper's.
Now with both OUR No #1 & #2 GK's as #1 & #2 for the Olyroo's , Boog's (who i would even give'im a run on Sat nite despite playing last nite- he's tuff enuf 2 recova) as without doubt the best U23 CB in the country & to top it off Brad 'Chicken' Porter waiting in the wings @ CCM as a Central Midfielder & in the mix for Olyroo call-up makes for this season of the HAL 2 b worth FIR'IN THE FCUK UP 4!

I"M FIRED THE FCUK-UP! Boog's plays well beyond his 21 years and is starting to make Viddy look ordinary. As well as Boogs played, and he did very well, Viddy did not look ordinary ... he hasn't got the legs but run the tapes again and watch his experience milked for every last drop! That is one of the first games I've seen Trotty not have a rush of blood to the head - and I don't call the stepover one! Two class saves. Is CoastFM covering any of the Olyroos games, and if not Newy - is anyone? I'm fired the f*** up! Bring on Wednesday night (not to mention Tuesday)

Kev I mean 'overall', not that game in particular. Nige is putting in performances week in week out that i was expecting to see from Viddy 'last year' and hope to see 'this year' as well, as he's our psuedo-marquee. There's still a few small holes in the backline, you could see them there last night. Boog's job from watching the tape was 'to stik like shit' to the towering Reinaldo last nite wherever he was attacking from, central or out a little. Viddy's then to keep an eye on those holes when they appear from Boog's moving laterally. Browny's performance didn't help the cause, but I'm sure just a little 'ring rust'. He was FIRED T"F UP, ref had to tell him to FIRE T'F DOWN ;D Midfield is what really failed us last night in relation to possesion. Nobody can win a ball thru tuff tackling, keep hold of a ball like our Gumps. Would have been far better suited in his usual role in the middle, especially when Farina moved 'Tuff Tiatto' in there. Andre distributes to the width of the park better than Hutch, who's more suited to being on the end of such distribution.

boogs was just another class last night - amazing performance, has to be one of the calmest defenders i've seen. his pace is certainly nothing special (reinaldo scrorched him a coupla times) but his timing and touch mean it doesn't matter all that much, he's too smart and too easy on the ball and in the tackle. excellent player, great to see him on the park again after the couple of years he's had.
i'd say he played up to a vidmar-esque standard, rather than making vidmar look ordinary.

i'd say he played up to a vidmar-esque standard, rather than making vidmar look ordinary. Dibo, I thought you already wore glasses. Kev I mean 'overall', not that game in particular. As pointed out by Lawrie in an interview printed in the CC Express over "2 weeks" ago; "Coach Lawrie McKinna said not even a fit Vidmar would displace the inform Boogard from the side." At this point Wilko's injury wasn't certain soooooo Vidmar had 2 players, playing football greater than a 'Vidmar-esque' standard leaving Viddy out of the picture. Then Wilko gets injured, Viddy gets lucky. Never said: Viddy-played-ordinary-vs-Qld! Just praising Nige's 'form' (you know.. games played leading up to current game) by comparison.

Stillbeck I hope your source is right, Boogs in particular has been as good a Beach this year and Mrdja on form the best the A-league has to offer, how Bolton & Brosquegot in the squad is beyond me , Maybe Branko gotn his hand on Arnolds !!! but really there not in the same class as our guys.
