;Din this fridays express advocate it says that 5 mariners have received caps for the socceroos these 5 being Nik Mrdja, Tony Vidmar, Tom Pondeljak and former mariner Michele Beachamp. sure this may only be 5 but in the socceroos i know that Alex Wilkinson,
Danny Vukovic and Dean Heffernan also has featured in the squad but hasn't played for the country just yet... Anyway we also have 3 olyroos and 4 or 5 AIS graduates so we have a bunch of future socceroos and so of our current players should be called up since were doing so well this season and i hope we can keep this up. ;D

I know Porter and Redmain have been at the AIS who are the others?

The Express needs a kick up the you know what. There midweek paper had a rugby union shield being held up as they had won the last three season. Big deal less than
1, 200 players very local, in the same issue the Mariners had five players involved in national matches. In fact go back over there previous four issues league & union finals back page agian big FD, yes report them and cover them as they are local.
The Mariners are playing in a national league with nine national players, including five socceroos. When is the express going to treat the Mariners and football generally with the coverage a team playing in a national league with 9 caps in the squad should get in an area with no other major sporting team.
Our five soccroos are; Nik M, Tony V, Tommmy P, Sasha P, Dean H
Olyroos are; Danny V, Bradley P, Nigel B,
Aust Youth Level is; Andrew R

Mcandrew is a product of the Central Coast Academy not AIS.
