Where's Mori when you need him? HAHA am starting to wonder, have seen little tidbits of rumours elsewhere that he's on the move, but the feel has that he's been maybe going to perth or sydney...

What are the rules for short term covers in the a league? do we have enough unavaliable players to sign one? As Andy discovered on news.com.au a few weeks back: "FOOTBALL Federation Australia last night announced that it had relaxed rules for A-League injury replacement players. The minimum injury requirement has been scrapped, as has the need to replace the player with someone playing the same position. Previously it had to be a like- for-like replacement and the injured player had to be sidelined for at least six weeks."

Mori is great and fits in well, as we know, but wouldnt have a clue how his form has been.
Would be a good chance for Matty Simon from the bench I would have thought...
Would much rather Nik be around for rounds 10 thru to the end than the first ten.

Forget the short term!
If he's available sign Mori for the season we still have a spot.
He's better than Sash and Nik!

www.news.com.au/dailytelegraph/story/0,22049,22453074-5006068,00.html Here is confirmation of Damian Mori's signing. it is quoted that the mariners insist that this is not a cover for a long term injury to Nik Mrdja. Judging by own injury concerns after last week, it is lucky that we didnt sign Ahmad Elrich as well, because it is the positions of striker and centre back that seemed to be thinning the most not right wing.
