Natalie and I were talking to Brett before the game yesterday and we came to the shocking realisation that the Mariners calendar is cursed!!
August featured Alex Wilkinson. Wilko got injured in August.
September has Sasho and Mrdja. Both injured in September.
October is Vidmar! Watch out Viddie!

This is indeed shocking.
Thankfully the club spared me this horror until now by not bothering to send me my calendar...(I do think I signed up in time.)
Vidmar should be in cotton wool for the entire month.

Yes he does, with Stringers.
The only good news is that a number of players fall in months outside the A-League season.

I didnt realise how much Tony Vidmar looked like his bro. If his brother wasnt retired and started playing for us that would be a spin out!
