link wasn't working try thisinteresting thou - if we do sign someone then Mrdja would have the rest of his contract torn up IMO (unless its just a simple replacement like mori). Then would we be able to fit Vidmar under the cap and get a new marquee? Or would we be looking at somebody on a similar wage to Mrdja? Needs to be a quality signing thou. If Lawrie is looking overseas whereabouts do your reckon he would look? |

Juventus and Italy don't seem to want Del Piero anymore....... how much do u believe would be the going rate for del piero would be? i would put it in the millions plus we already have 1 striker in their 30's i reckon we should have 1 old guy and 2 young guys |

I hope he doesn't go to brazil but maybe Columbia, Spain or a non 35+ yr old Englishman or he could suck up to Les Murray and go to Africa.

The 1-year contract he signed for Fiorentina at the start of the year was worth a reported a 3 million. Can we offer that amount for him to come play here? |

Do you know the specialist Pete? I think the issue here is more Nik not wanting to do the hard work of recovering from a knee injury, I've had a few in my time as a runner and you can't just show up to physio every week and expect it to get fixed you actually have to do A LOT of work yourself and I'm not convinced Nik has done this. If you don't believe you will recover you won't, Mrdja has played his last game in the A-League I think. No I don't. And if I did, I would not have drawn on any info the specialist/friend/associate had given me any ways, as it could have gotten said specialist into trouble with his patient if they had read the quote. |
