Just confirmed on radio. You wouldn't be a Mariner for quids. Ossie is one of my favourite players - has been since season one. Finally found his groove at right back and now this!  |

f***King hell this makes me really mad. this seems to be the worst week this year for the mariners. we seriously got to get a short termer for right back cos clark was soundly beaten twice in the adelaide game

That sucks! We surely must be the worst club affected by injuries. Yep, I think your avatar of Danny pretty much sums it up....you couldn't script crap like this. Exactly the sort of thing that handicapped us last year. By my reckoning, our casualty ward is now made up of: Wilko O'Grady (BTW, can someone tell me how the hell he got the nickname Stringers.) Osman Mrdja Plus, Vidmar suspended for 1 more game PLUS Danny & Boogs away for the Olyroos Feel free to add anyone I've missed! So, even with the latter 3 to come back next week (and Wilko within about a fortnight, according to the official site), we're missing almost a whole defence, and forced to draft in our main midfielder and fitness coach. Our main striker is out indefinitely, and we're forced to rely on youngsters to help Petrovski out. Fantastic..... |

For sure call Safran... it seems as soon as someone in our sqaud finds their game, they get injured.

Today's express says Osman will be replaced by Porter at right back. Clark will move from left back to partner Jedi in central defence, Heff will start at left back.
Lawrie is considering promoting Brownie to midfield and playing kwassie in attack with Sash, and Matt Simon is also in the mix for a start.
