i'm factoring in that next year we may well be without vidmar, gumps, mrdja and clark. Mrdja I expect to be without, and not to fussed, but have you heard something iv not in regards to the other 3, or just speculating? 100% speckyoulayshun

Would be great to get Archie but agree with others can not see him leaving Victory.
If we get a big name I would like John Aloisi, he could also teach Matt Simon a few tricks and put lots of bums on seats.
Imagine Tommy playing balls to Sas & JA, Kwas & Hemp charging down left.
Midfielder playing the holding position in the centre of park (sorry Hutch & Jedi it is my dream) (OK OK no more one handed typing)

Can't see Gumps leaving Dibs but the rest I'd give you.
Not sure if Archie would leave Melbourne for another Aussie club, but yep, he's a nice guy.

Can't see Gumps leaving Dibs but the rest I'd give you. Really hope you're right there. I still think Gumps & Jedi together are our best midfield combination, although Hutcho's form over the past few would mean finding space for him somewhere. Not sure if Archie would leave Melbourne for another Aussie club, but yep, he's a nice guy. Spot on - as much as I'd like to say otherwise, a move from Melbourne to the Coast isn't a step up career wise - a sideways step maybe.... Would like to know why Archie is 'disgruntled', mind you. Is it a problem with Ernie Merrick or just frustration with the A-league?

Doesnt Gumps has an established and succesful business here that is only going to gain more and more publicity as the mariners get further into the season playing well? I really cant see him going anywhere.

Next time you watch Gumps watch how many times he loses the ball and runs around like a headless chicken not challenging for the ball.

bit harsh dj, but he is at the end of his career... kwas needs improvement in areas of his game but as you rightly said he is still only 24 years old and with a bit of confidence and good guidance he can become a better player, he has shown glimpses of what he can do

Not harsh thou at all..........really watch Gumps and you will see what I mean as long as your not narrow minded
