New PDF is available with all the stats www.marinators.net/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=296&Itemid=40Something no mentioned in this document but thought it was interesting ;D - Should the Phoenix fail to score on Sunday, they will edge closer to a unique record held by the Perth Glory. The Glory were prevented from scoring for 324 minutes of competitive playing time from the kick off of their inaugural encounter against the Central Coast before netting their first ever goal against the Mariners, a record that the Phoenix are 144 minutes away from equalling.

Another interesting stat coming from the past two seasons is that the Mariners have never won a game coming from a goal down (i.e. opposition scoring the first goals).
In fact, in eleven games where such occurrences have taken place, the Mariners have lost ten and drawn one.

Does that stat supposedly stretch back to season one? I think we beat Melbourne 3-1 after Ferrante cut inside Meggsi to start things. That was Muscat's nuts game was it not?

I love this stat:
Wellington has only conceded 1 more shot than the Central Coast, but has conceded 10 more goals

But this season isn't a past season, it's present, it's a simple matter of tense!
