Let's put it on the F record In each V of HAL at the end of six home games these were the crowd figures. HAL V1 after six games Total 42,933 average 7,156 HAL V2 after six games Total 58,722 average 9,787 HAL V3 after six games Total 62,095 average 10,349 Also ticket system broke down agianst Scum (HAL V3) and estimated is 3, 000 were let in with out being counted in the crowd. Also HAL V2, is slightled inflated as after home rounds 3, 5 & 6, had large crowds and there was only 1 match in home rounds 7 to 11 that were larger than home rounds 3, 5 & 6. Also HAL3 , still has three major games to go being Sydney Flying Circus, Scrum & Victory on new years eve. Thus three largest crowds to come. Midfielder thinks crowd will average over the ten rounds just over 12, 000 or about a 42% increase on HAL V1. IF Flying Circus had same increase on HAL V1, there crowd figures should be averaging 23, 698. So crowd wise we are heading north and at a very healthy rate.

Think about the game against Wellington if it's the trophy presentation, I imagine that would get a crowd too!

Anyone confirm why Prysdik pulled up Adelaide after disallowing Simon's goal?
Can't be for offside as the restart was inside Adelaide's penalty box.
Did he take the free too quickly, it appeared the free was allowed then Prysdik followed the ball up field only to pull it up.

Not sure but.....if the free kick was taken from inside the penalty area, did they wait for it to go outside the area before touching it...? If not...the ball's not in play...take again.

It was not pulled up until it was in the mariners half and Adelaide were offside. Why then was it not our free kick?

My take on it watching at the time and on replay:
Simon 'scores' and players run to celebrate. Adelaide see offside call and Galekovic plants the ball and quickly takes free kick. Cassio receives ball inside own half. Percodans at this point looks at Mariners players in a pile and blows whistle to call play back - incorrectly in my belief - but it was the sane thing to do. He kind of points to his whistle to possibly indicate to Galekovic that he couldn't take the kick quickly, which isn't right. If he said the kick wasn't taken from the right spot, then that is a correct decision, but the kick did appear to be taken from the right spot. Meanwhile, Cassio passes the ball to Dodd who is inside the Mariners half. If play had gone on, he would have been offside because all our players were in their half celebrating. Hence their free kick is retaken rather than an offside awarded to us.
So in summary, I believe the ref was probably wrong in stopping the play, but it wouldn't have been a goal anyway because Cassio stupidly passed the ball instead of just running it.
That's if you want to go by the letter of the law. In the circumstances though, common sense prevailed.
