A bit late to start the topic, but I'm about to leave to go to Wanderers to watch the Coasties vs Rockdale.
I haven't seen a soccer match since the NBN Grand Final, if I was to go on much longer I may go crazy.

Umm I'm not very good at reporting, but I'll give you a bit of a summary.
It finished 0-0. It was pretty lack lustre most of the time due to the heat.
Both teams wasted some good opportunities to score.
And both teams swore way too much at the referee and each other.

R2: Sunday 28th November 2004 Wanderers Oval, Broadmeadow
Central Coast United 0 vs. Rockdale City Suns 0 Teams for the match were:
Central Coast United Rockdale City Suns 20. Matthew Trott 1. John Perosh 2. Josh Mitchell 3. Milan Bosnar 3. Matthew Bingley 5. Richard Plesa 4. Keegan Wolfenden 6. David Harding 5. Nigel Boogard 7. Peter Apolevski 6. Ilija Prenzoski 8. Ante Deur 7. Scott Thomas 9. Nick Bosevski 9. Shane Knight 13. Robert Gomez 10. Peter Haynes 17. Hong Ryeol Ju 11. Marc Falzon 20. Paul Bilokapic 15. Gareth Jenkins 4. Michael Cindric
1. Jacob Rex (G/K) 2. Scott Baillie 12. Joe Schrippa 11. Jimmy Aschner 13. Dave Brewer 12. Cameron Jones 17. Joel Thiessen 21. Christian Cevinini 32. Michael Lloyd Green G/K Steven Manovski A match of missed opportunities for Grant Lee and Ivan Petkovic’s men as the goalkeepers dominated. John Perosh was in outstanding form as he cut out numerous opportunities from Central Coast wide men Shane Knight & Scott Thomas.
In the heat of a Newcastle evening Coast appeared to get better of the southerners and it seemed they would take a handy lead into half time. However, opportunities were squandered by Thomas when he found himself with only Perosh to beat then later a goal mouth scramble saw Haynes, Mitchell and Thomas all fail to finish.
Rockdale too had their fair share of chances with Nick Bosevski going close on a number of occasions. But it was Knight for Coast and Perosh for Rockdale who seem to be dominating in the first half. The other player to catch the eye was Hong Ryeol Ju who was causing Wolfenden plenty of concern. In the second stanza Hong Ryeol Ju created a chance from nothing. Wolfenden missed a header as it appeared fatigue was beginning to take its toll. Unfortunately the cross from Ju was put just wide by Harding.
The midfield was run ragged as chances began to appear at both ends. Thomas created a chance for Prenzoski who looked certain to score but he put the ball agonizingly wide of the goal. Perosh was again the hero soon after as he gained a touch to deny Mitchell a free header on goal. Yet again Central Coast found the ball close to goal this time Bingley had a chance to open the scoring but the tap in chance evaded his reach.
At the other end Bosevski always looked a chance. He again escaped the clutches of the coast defence as Mitchell erred. Yet again though his shot was poor and Trott safely handled the attempt. Bingley then, from a free kick tested Perosh’s reflexes as he could only palm a low shot however the ball was cleared to safety. Finally, though, it appeared Rockdale would prevail as Aschner had only Trott to beat. However Trott was equal to the task on a day where the keepers and the heat prevailed.
Grade 20: score Central Coast 4 v. Rockdale 1
Next week Central Coast United are away to Wollongong Wolves at WIN Stadium on Sunday 5th December.
