Firstly, congratulations to The Entrance on their PL1 win. I have heard a rumour (from a Killarney Official) that the Entrance is in strife and may not be accepted into the CCSA next season.
Apparently, they have no committee, no constitution and they have lost their sponsorship from The Entrance Leagues Club after trashing the place.
Is there in substance to these rumours?

Southern Ettalong 3-1 The Entrance Sort it out Gumps!!! Speaking to Gumps Friday night and he said that he lost eight first graders to the Lightning, include one last week. I guess it will take him some time to get them back on track because that is one big blow!

While i am sorry the entrance has lost so many players, i think its great that alot of local PL1 players have been recognised and given a go in the lighting squad. There is so many players in PL1 around the coast who could make the grade. The coaches of the lighting squads just need to go and seek them out.
Losing eight first grade players in one go is alot, and it will be difficult for gumps to make a go of it with so may players gone. I wish him well though. Personnally i think it is great that he is involved in the local game and i wish him all the best.
I watched Umina play on the weekend and they looked good against toukley. Toukleys keeper kept them to a reasonable score. I counted six one on one opportunitys that the toukley keeper stopped.

Yeah when we played toukley in the association cup, that keeper was awesome, he should be playing for lightning. doesn't surprise me that he saved 6 one on ones. pulled off some rippers against us.
