My Mum was just at East Gosford registration this morning as my brothers team is playing for them this year (word of advice: stay away from wyoming tigers)
I am planning on playing all age with a mate and murphs (from the forum) for east gosford, so Mum asked about all age, and they told her that a bunch of marinators were joining to make a team.
If this is true, who is playing and in what division? because i would love to play with some marinators, especially after playing in the charity match vs the cove.

have u played with them before? do u know their committee?
its ok if u play first grade, they will worship the ground u walk on, because of john mclafferty.
i was in the 18As for the previous 2 years. the first year, we made it to the state cup and lost 1-0 due to some unfair decisions. then, the club and ccsa wouldnt let us play in champions of champions because the champions of champions match was in the afternoon of our grand final, which was in the morning, (provided we made the grand final as the semis had not even started, but we did anyway). so no chance was even given to us.
not one member of the committee watched a game of ours, until we had a semi finals state match at home last year, and we got beaten 3-2 by one of the best teams i have seen (they were killing the under 20 comp in northern beaches) and then the club went and wrote us off, saying we couldnt win a game.
is that enough? i could probably go on and on, and include the trouble they caused my bros team aswell.
but saying that, u could get away with have a good team and no trouble with the club.

i totally agree with you.i Don't like Wyoming Tigers because a coach spatt on me in my first ever grand final weh i was 12.yeah thats right SPATT on me.I have heard nothing but bad things about wyoming soccer club. They are a very bad club from what i see. They treated boys that play for East gossie now (who i play for and the best club on the caost) like absolute sh*t you woudlnt beleive it..East Gosford is the best!!!!!!

i will be playing AA for east gosford this season. as far as i know there has been a ludacris amount of people signing up, especially in the older ages. it seems the passion and dedication for football in australia is bigger and better than ever, hopefully it can keep growing.

Might end up playing against you in AA on the 12th March. Woy Woy are hosting trials against East Gosford that day. Good to hear that the AA groups are booming as well.

Analysis I agree everyone likes the support of the board. If they can't support then hopefully they won't hinder. I suppose most committee members spend all saturday at the parks doing their duties and find it tough to get out on a Friday night as well.
I thought the Wyoming committee did the right thing in shutting down the alternate wyoming tigers web site. Imagine if someone set up an alternate Marinators site and ran their own agenda.
The bloke that published team photos on the alternate site and pixelated out one 12 year olds face, because he doesn't like his old man, needs to have a good hard look at himself.
