Kincumber 1 - Kanwal 1
It was a great game by my team, Kanwal before today had won every game and to get a point against them is as good as a loss, we deserved it we defended so good being on the back foot for alot of the 2nd half. They got an early goal from a fumble by our keeper who let it roll over the line. Then my team had a bit more of the ball and we missed a chance over the bar which we should have scored off, and then came THE PENALTY.
Kanwal handballed the ball in the box, we wernt sure who was going to take it, most people walked back and i always wanted to take a penalty so i put my hand up to take it. I had never taken a penalty before in my life and the pressure was all on my shoulders, we were down 1-0 against the best team in the comp and i am walking back taking my first ever penalty. I was feeling the pressure to say the least, and i ran up and you guessed it........ i scored ;D i ran towards the corner post but sadly no goal celebration, i feel i let myself down talking it all up and not pulling another one out, i ran towards the post but i didnt know what to do.
So after that it was an even rest of the first half. In the 2nd half they were all over us we had a couple chances but nothing too serious where Kanwal were unlucky not to score and my team done a great effort in defending. the ref done a good job, probally the first good ref we have had in a while which was good, even though i got pulled up quite a few times and i almost got a yellow. ;D
We are the only team Kanwal hasnt beaten they have beaten every other team and only got a draw against us it was a good result
