Apparently CCFA constitution states that if two teams finish the competition on equal points the league championship is decided on goal difference. However the constitution says the Central Coast rep in C of C cannot be decided on goal difference. A play off has been ordered by CCFA. Major semi this weekend will double as C of C qualifier. Gosford V Tuggerah

thats a bit harsh. so that means they still come first past post and be classed as premiers but could lose on weekend and not go. thats crap

I wonder who,s pulling the strings for Tuggerah 15a at the CCF. Tuggerah were given the chance to win the competition by allowing them to play a game whilst everyone else including Gosford had to take the one point, this allowed Tuggerah equal points with Gosford and then Tuggerah lost the competition on goal difference, now they are still not satisfied and want another shot at C o C. The world game is resolved by goal difference in every country but not the CCF, they have to be different.

The world game is resolved by goal difference in every country but not the CCF, they have to be different. Not quite right. I think you are referring to one of the wash outs that everyone experienced. Tuggerah were very fortunate to be scheduled for a bye. The round in question was washed out Tuggerah received 0 points, Gosford would have been long odds on to pick up up 3 instead received 1. Very very lucky for Tuggerah but can't see any conspiracy theory. This is how Tuggerah caught Gosford. CCFA had this rule in place before a ball was kicked 2006. Hopefully something will be done about it next season. As Johnwarren says should be an interesting game with one win a piece 2-1 to Tuggerah and 1-0 to Gosford.

Then the plot thickens even more, Gosford 15s were always ahead of Tuggerah by 2pts as Tuggerah only managed a draw with Budgewoi, so that makes Gosford 3 pts ahead so how did Tuggerah pull it back, please confer if I am wrong.

Both teams had 12 wins Tuggerah had their bye washed out so all of the other teams got 1 point Tuggerah 0. So Tuggerah in essence had an advantage in that they didn't really lose three points to the bye.
Tuggerah had a draw with Budgie that left them 2 points behind Gosford. Tuggerah picked up the points when Gosford had their second bye

3 all. Tuggerah won on penalties.
Even more controversy with Gosford stuffing up their cards. Three of their better players couldn't play till correct cards were ratified. No subs till half time.

Apparently Gosford have lodged an appeal seeking a reply. Not surprising.
