Central Coast Football is pleased to announce the commencement of Mark Boyd as the High Performance Manager.
The High Performance Manager will facilitate and develop player pathways from club to representative and beyond. Mark will also be responsible for coach education at all levels, including providing services to the clubs with FFA licenced coaching courses.
Mark’s qualifications include a Bachelor of Human Movement Studies Science (Sports Exercise Science) and an Associate Degree of Business Management. Importantly to the Coast, Mark is a Football Federation Australia Staff Coach, holds a National Coaching Licence and is a National Licence Instructor, meaning that CCF will now be able to offer training directly to the Central Coast Football Family.
Mark comes from an impressive football employment background, most recently as the Football Federation Northern Territory’s State Coaching and Development Officer for the last 18 months. He was involved with the development of new age-appropriate games and the junior sports framework for the Football Federation of Australia (FFA).
Directly before that, Mark was the State Development Officer/Special Project Manager for Football Queensland where he developed all state-based player programming and coach education programs, including the development of electronic and DVD coaching resources. Mark also spent 3 years as the Far North Queensland (Cairns) Coaching and Development Manager and 4 years as North Queensland (Townsville) Regional Coaching & Development Manager, also through Football Queensland.
He has also been with the Queensland Academy of Sport for 2 years as their Womens Program Coach, where they won the inaugural Women’s National League Championship (Ansett Summer Series).
CCF is proud to add Mark to the team and offer improved services to all of our clubs, players, coaches and the Central Coast Football Family.
This is great news for coaches and the system up here.
