geez....gossie are going great guns. Our lot beat them 2-1 this season and lost 1-0 (due to a shitty penalty). and um erm....lot 5-1 (our keeper came off at half time injured) So thats cool to know how good they going. Good luck gossie

im just writing down a few things for our last game of the season.
my team - kini u13s had them for four years and this is just the cream to be in a gf of champions of champions. in my lifetime of a grade soccer i only once made it to round one of the c of c's and to come here and do this this year is just a great achievement for these kids. we weren't the best team this year, last year i had a better squad and we went through undefeated till the grand final, but this year the lads have trained hard and i have bought 3 c graders from the club as well as a kid who hadn't played soccer till this year up to speed and the commitment that the boys have put in for the year is a great testament to what can happen if you want it.
so, to my team - all the best today, give 100% and all will be ok.
thanks alot - toombsy

Congratulations to Gosford for taking out the 18s today. A fantastic result from a very good team. Hard luck to Kincumber 13s for getting so far and finishing as runners up. Nothing to be ashamed of - in fact quite the opposite - congratulations on a tremendous effort.

many thanks to all on the coast for your best wishes. we did really well and certainly weren't disgraced by our performance. the last three minutes was extremely tough and the fairfield team was able to get two goals. but we played with commitment and played a nice game. to my bouys - its been a great year to remember and to gosford 18s well done on bringing one back to the coast. wish george's team had have been there as well - hard lines tuggerah

Bad luck Johnny and the Kincumber boys. By my watch Fairfield scored in the last 45 seconds to make it 2-1 then again in injury time when the heads had dropped. Very close game and a fabulous accomplishment to make the grand final of a state title.
