Considering the rapid growth of women's football (If memory serves this is the first year on the coast we've had WAA5?) I wonder if this will take off on the coast, or if we're a few seasons away from it?
Oh well, just as long as they're better behaved than the O35 mens....hahaha ;-)
Have CCF said anything about this? Ideally if CCF are keen to get it going there should be something on the website....although considering how long it took to get information on Beach Soccer there i don't know if I'd be expecting to see anything anyway....

There is also talk of a under 17s comp next year as well as possibly a 21s comp or something like there, there is lots of rumours going round bout new comps they will bring in next year but what people say will happen is alot diffrent to what the ccf actually do

There's always talk of new comps. Last season they were talking about a boys U/17, and a men's O45 comp, but they didn't happen.
Wasn't this the first year for U/18s for women's?
Are you talking about U/17s and U/21s for women or men Farthinator?

I dont really understand how central coast football will be able to accommodate such rapid growth due to the current water restrictions by introducing even more competitions.
With the lack of grounds available, along with the conditions of some grounds on the coast, I think this will just compound the problem. I think this sucks though as it would be good to see the game on the coast expand without these environmental factors standing in the way.

True...however the fields last season have been better than in seasons past, IMO.
The lack of grounds is going to become a real issue soon. I can see a lot of games being played at Mountains soon...considering that last season, on a Saturday they'd have 2-4 games there, while East Gosford and Wyoming would have all their fields running flat out from dawn til dusk.
Are other sports/codes having similar issues with fields reaching capacity?
I wonder when the women's O30's comp will be played....

I believe the only reason the over 30's womens comp was even thought of is due to the state government wanting the CCF to push womens sport, similarly it's the reason they are pushing the under 10 girls comp. The CCF receive funding on this basis so of course they should provide the facilities to let these womens only sports thrive.

The question is if Womens Over 30's Girls 10's and Boys 17's are introduced will that increase the number of teams and players or just re arrange the deck chairs so to speak.
A lot of women who will play over 30's are already playing all age. Similarly those who will play 17's would have other wise played 18's and girls playing 10's most likely would have been playing up in girls 12's. Maybe not so much so in the girls 10's because these gils can dual register and might continue to play with boys on Saturdays and play 10 Girls on Sundays.
