Can't wait to play Kariong WAA4 given sunday's form you will be up against it they played their first ever football match on sunday against tuggerah AA3 and only lost 3-1 actually the improvement from first half to second half was amazing after the girls were down 3-0 at HT came back and won the second half! congrats to teriyaki, chimmi-churri, honeysoy, jane (sacko's wife), dryrub and co for a great start to your football career

Thanks Mick. We were told after we'd finished playing that tuggerah were a grade higher than us. Apparently our coach didn't want to freak us out before hand.
I think we've all pulled up ok-ish. honeysoy was great in defense as was jane. chimmi-churri and dryrub (my sister) went gangbusters all game. Well done girls.

2 weeks in a row my trial games have been cancelled due to rain!!! Glad to hear that Kariong WAA4 got a run though. And don't stress to much over playing a team in an above grade. There isn't too much between the AA4's and the AA3's.

Well great to see you scorred a goal. I'm not playing but Managing the U15A's again this year with Mr McFerguson and me Lawriene McKinna. We are a mighty coachingand managing team at Wyong.
The boys have won their first trail game against ourimbah - much to the spite of the coach. Well done.
Go Kariong WAA4 - will come and watch a few games.
Fish have you found the club with the best pies?

We'd love you to watch us. Before the game some of us were a bit nervous about having spectators but you hardly notice when you are heaving up a lung, trying to chase down an amazon. Tuggerah were really nice to us. If there's anyone on here from their WAA3, thanks for a great game.

MarinerMick was awesomely supportive... ...roll on real games! ...oh and hi all... this is my first post Cheers Monkey

I am now playing in the historical AA8 with budgie.
In a trial against fellow 8ers Wyong we lost 5-4 due to a 4 goal blitz in ten minutes after half time by Wyong. We hit back with 3 goals near the end but ran out of time chasing a 5th. Our first two goals of the season were both own goals by Wyong.
AAeIgHtS: pure glory.
ps I was off the field for ten minutes after half time.

I hear that Budgie AA8's fell to my team from last year on the weekend in a trial 3 - 1 or something...

I hear that Budgie AA8's fell to my team from last year on the weekend in a trial 3 - 1 or something... Yeah we'd played a church team in a 90-minute game the afternoon before with no subs, so we had some tired legs the next day. Conceded a couple of quick, soft goals after making a sub at centre back. We will be a force during the season.
