Happy New Year to all and welcome back to the 2007 Football Season.
This year as a commitment to Club Football, player development and coach education we have embarked on an ongoing series of Coach Education seminars workshops and courses to best service the needs of our Central Coast members.
We will be presenting the following services:
1) High Performance Coaching Updates – Pitched at High Performance programs and Senior / Youth Football for the experienced coach. These are to be held fortnightly at Pluim Park (commencing 10th January 2007) incorporating some theoretical component through presentations and lectures plus practical coaching sessions involving Youth Teams. We will also invite special guest presenters to contribute to the program is their respect areas of specialization.
2) Club Coaching Updates – Developed for Grass Roots and developing coaches at club level. These will conducted monthly and are also held centrally at Pluim Park. They are open to any interested coach / manager or club administrator. Again practical and theoretical presentations, with the majority of the practical content delivered by “Active Involvement” with the attendee’s. Be sure to wear appropriate clothing and footwear for your active participation.
3) Club Visits / Updates – These will be delivered at the respective club and designed to cater to your clubs needs and requirements. This service is available by request and by specific booking, most will be conducted by Dan Barrett (CCF Development Officer). This is not an opportunity to have your team coached, but for your club coaches to attend specific coaching modules which will benefit all of your teams development.
4) FFA Licenced Coaching Courses – Delivery of accredited Junior, Youth and Senior Licence Courses will be available here on the Coast for the continued education of coaches of all levels. These Community Accreditation Courses will be provided locally either at Pluim Park or by request at Club facilities. All Asian Football Confederation courses will be conducted by FFA at Central Venues. Several of these have already been planned and established beginning with a Women’s Specific Junior Licence Course on the 20th & 21st January, Youth Licence Course commencing in February and a Senior Licence Course commencing in March…. For further details please contact the CCF Office.
Please feel free to contact me with any suggested coaching topics that you would like to see catered for within our Coach Education Updates.
