elevens won 5-2 i think twelves lost 4-2 thirteens won 4-0 fourteends won 4-1 or 4-0 fifteens won 4-1 sixteens ?? 18s not sure 21s was a draw first grade 0-1 lost (goal in first five against them so did well thereon for first run)
but heat was incredible, we were prepared in that area with ice towels and heaps of water and how to get through it dont know how it would have been for later games - just stifling.

ok, sydney united on the weekend gone 10/2/07 at united sports ground.
great field for the boys to play on for a trial game. we went down 4-2. half time down 1-0. then got back to 1-1 in second half. the ref then let a backpass to goalkeeper from 5 yards away go, so that would have been a good scoring chance. but as we scored they scored straight back within a minute twice. so a bit of work there needed. but we were certainly not out of the contest and at times had alot of the play and we definitely had them worried. pity their coach couldn't speak a word of english and had an interpreter beside him to pass on info to the united kids.
the under 14s were up 1-0 at half time when i left but heard that they got beat 2-1.
the other results not to sure

Whats the standard of Lightning compared to Azzurri as i've played azzurri a fair few times(albeit at junior level)? If you mean the U20s compared to Azzurri U19s, they are comparable in skill level, though lightning looked better drilled, likely because they have had a longer preparation. Keep in mind that the Azzurri 19's are a very good young squad averaging around 17 yrs. Lightning play the ball around the park very well & look quite sharp.
