Coaches Education Night In Sports Psychology
Venue: NNSW Head Office, 235 Old Maitland Road, Hexham.
Date: Monday February 26th . Time: 6.00pm
Guest Presenter: John Crampton, the NSW Sport & Recreation Sports Psychologist.
The night will consist of John presenting the following:
Managing people, players and staff.
Preparing coaches and players for matches.
Human factors in elite football.
How to get the best out of athletes in difficult circumstances.
We will also have a question and answer section at the end.
There will be a nominal admittance fee of $10.

Over the last 25 years, John Crampton has been very influential in Australian Sport in an extensive and varied career based on the mental preparation of athletes and coaches, and the development of operational systems within teams, associations, and groups providing services to elite sport.
Brief Career & Professional Details :
• consultant Sport Psychologist, based in Sydney (Northmead), runs “Performance Enhancement Systems”, a business that offers Management & Training Services for Athletes, Coaches & Organisations
• develops and conducts mental training programmes to improve athlete, coach and programme performance, and provides advisory/counselling/coaching services to athlete development programmes - has developed and conducted many management / training programs for elite coaches for the Australian Coaching Council
• has been involved with programmes conducted by the Australian Institute of Sport since 1983, including both staff sport psychologist and consultant sport psychologist positions
• has worked with over 40 sports at the national junior or senior team level, and works extensively with state, national and international sporting organisations from limited brief training programmes to extensive long term organisational consultancies
• has consulted to many professional sporting teams / organisations, including Sydney Kings Basketball, Brisbane Broncos Rugby League, the Football Federation of Australia, the Singapore Sports Council and the Singapore Sports School
• works with professional management groups to improve the organisation and approach of athletes, and in the areas of image creation, media and public relations training, regularly counselling athletes in areas relating to lifestyle management and career development
• provided extensive management consultancy services in the establishment of the NSW Institute of Sport
