Heya, haven't posted here in ages lol. Just wanted to say, beginning of Feb I went to watch my lil cuz play for Manly United against CCL at Pluim Park. It wasn't on the main field but was behind it, and well I'm not trying to be mean or anything but Pluim Park seems like the surface needs ALOT of work to be done on it. I live up the road from where Manly Play at Cromer Park and the difference is HUGE. Just my opinion though, want some thought of what others think and if you reckon Pluim Park needs some upgrading. Oh yeah, whos that stand named after lol never heard of the person the main grabndstand there is named after

I'm sure everyone agrees the grounds need a lot of work. Takes cash though and CCFA don't have a lot of that at the moment.

no doubt it needs some work maybe the council, CCFA and the mariners could get together once the youth league is up and running and make that the homeground for the mariners youth team. therefore improving the facilities

It's a private ground I don't think the council will be chipping in.

maybe it could be an idea for the cash strapped CCFA to get into bed with the council

Is it privately owned or leased from the Council. Presume the zoning prohibits any development??

i kinda thought it would have been leased by the council thats why i came up with the idea for the mariners, council and CCFA to work together

Something would have to be done, that idea above with Marienrs the council and the CCFA working together sounds good, a better playing surface would be much better for the youngsters playing on it and will probably even develop better by playing on a better surface

Playing at a different venue defeats one of it's aims. To provide further entertainment & value for dollar to the HAL. The FFA would never allow such a move.

My back paddock looks better than Pluim Park and has done for years. CCF squanders money doesn'task questions where its going and whilst it behaves in this manner you will never see Pluim Park look any better.
My money wont help them - why are they still in exsistance and not out.
