i would have been out if we played due to a toukley guy axing me causing in a hyperextension of the knee
lawn bowls at the leaguesy instead on sunday for a drinking session
if anyone is interested in joining us PM me - $5 for use of synthetic green and bowls

Well while almost everyone else is having a break this weekend, I have a double header. We play Avoca on Sun, the last time we played this team of young un's it was a nil all draw so both teams will be out to prove they can score. Then on Mon we back up at Pluim with a make up game against Wyoming. Gos WAA3S will be out for their first win of the comp.

T: You're playing at Noon at Pluim on Monday? You'll be seeing me there! Be nice to us Omni!! We haven't play Wyoming yet so don't know how they play, but we tend to be pretty clean, as long as you don't pull up swearing at ourselves to much.... ;D

That is of course if we play at all, if this rain keeps up no one will be playing on the coast

Meant to rain for another 2-3 days, pretty heavy tomorrow. I wouldn't be too optimistic....

I know we need the rain and all, but why can't it rain from Mon - Thurs, then clear up for the long weekend!!

I know we need the rain and all, but why can't it rain from Mon - Thurs, then clear up for the long weekend!! Because it almost always rains on the June long weekend. Woodport Primary School (Erina West back in my day) have what they used to call fireworks night on the Saturday night of the june long weekend. Pretty much each year, going back to 1988-89, they've had to postpone it due to the rain. If by some chance its not the June long weekend, but another, pretty much the second they put the notice up on the board you know its going to rain. It happens every single time. Same applys to any event happening at Mt Penang Parklands. If something is scheduled to happen that weekend, it rains.

I wish they had bowling centres that sell alcohol on the coast. They do in most other places.

Okay it's official. GAMES CANCELLED!08 June 2007 With the Central Coast currently undergoing one of the heaviest rain periods in some time, all grounds are closed, therefore the cancellation of this weekends games was the only solution. Source: www.ccfootball.com.au/home/news/164
