Most of the Central Coast teams went well yesterday at Richmond, I think only the 12s and 14s lost. The 16as Gosford are a class above and hopefully do well with only the bare 11 players yesterday and having played a grand final Saturday night.

Great results for all club teams on the weekend from the coast, all advancing to quarter finals stage, welldone to the teams who travelled the long journey to Lismore and no financial assistance from CCF for parents or players who these teams represent.

They represent their club as well. How much did Gosford contribute to your trip toffee?

The usual $0 dollars and it cost me $250, thats the price you pay for becoming league champions again, again, again and again this time with laminated cards

Congratulations to both teams.
Toffeeman, do you think the club is rolling in $'s ?
Most of the fee's we collect for registration goes to CCF. The club gets very little.

hire of grounds, lights, playing shirts, footballs all need to be paid for as well.
maybe the players could spend a bit more in the canteen to raise much needed revenue or maybe find a sponsor.

The usual $0 dollars and it cost me $250, thats the price you pay for becoming league champions again, again, again and again this time with laminated cards Good to see you have learnt the rules for this season. When you are league chamions again and again and again and you go to Cof C every year you know what you are up for. So you are hardly in a position to complain. Quite unreasonable of CCF not to pay your way Toffee. How many teams went to Lismore 3? $250 a player what's that 10 grand or more. C of C goes for for 5 or 6 weeks with about 18 teams competing. You do the maths I'm out of fingers and toes. Or should CCF only pay for your team of superstars.

You would think there would be some financial assistance though.. Like even just a little from CCF to help out. Even if it was just like 5 or 10%.
Does the Gosford club do anything additional for those teams that represent them in the C of C since they are unable to help out in monetary terms?
Actually not only Gosford, but all of the other clubs on the coast that may have a team representing them? Be interesting to see how they may be similiar or different.

Now that we have the debate moving, lets put it to the vote, should the CCF and The clubs finance the teams representing them in the Champion of Champions each year just like other associations especially travelling long distances outside the Sydney region. By the way simmette, if you managed to stock the canteen unlike this year when we assisted then maybe the boys would have something to sell. Good to see off the ball finally admit who the superstars are, I once remember you telling everyone you are a real coach and thats after poaching as many players as possible. I do not poach players, they want real coaching so they come to the right place.

Our travelling Cof C teams haven't been really given a fair shake Especially the teams that travelled to Lismore. Now have to play away again this time at Burwood on the 7th of October.

I would just like to wish the 12a girls good luck on the weekend. They are a great team who deserve every success. Scoring 110 goals for and only having 5 scored against is something to be proud of. Well done girls.
