Is there any promotion/relegation system in place for the mens and womens all age?
I know usually when a team wins the comp or something they usually play in the division above the following season, however is this actually something set in stone or is it just up to the club if they wish to field the team in a higher grade?

Ahh ok then.
So if you won the minor premiership but then bombed out in the finals without making the grand final would you then still go up?
Or in that case would the club put in a case to be promoted anyway if they wished?

Where you have gaps in the age group, a number of players from a top team may lose a lot of players to a higher age bracket. I've seen teamsdue to be promoted stop a promotion of grade the next year because they got anew team basically.

All boils down to the number pf players in the squad that return the following year, if majority then they go up. If only a handful of players return they have a case to stay in stay in the same grade.
