Hey,
Just looking at previous posts and noticing we have a quite a few forum members who have played the game for many years.
This leads me to the question, does anyone know what their career stats are? Like how many (or roughly) appearances have you made with which club (both Junior and Senior), and goals you have scored.
For some reason I just have an interest in statistics, so just out of curiousity I thought I would ask. If you have no idea just have a stab.
Mine for example are:
2005-06 - Woy Woy FC - 31 appearances (3 goals)
Itd be interesting to see just how much playing experience some people would have on here.
Cheers

About 10 seasons with Wyoming between 1992 and 2003. Who knows how many appearances? I think I scored 9 goals in an under 6's game once, then went on to score about 3 goals in competitive fixture the rest of that time, winning the U18C's in 03.
2007 Budgewoi AA8 about 16 appearances (2 goals)
Pretty unexciting really!

I have played 15 years and averaging 21 games a year ive played over 300 games. 50+ goals. Won Grand Finals in 1997, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004. Lost 1 in 2005. Won Admiral Cup (Champions of Champions style tournament) in 1997, where we beat Yugoona at Marconi Stadium in front of 5000 people before the State Leage Grand Final between Parramatta White Eagles & Bonnyrigg.
Scored the winning penalty in the Donny Parkes Trophy against Smugney FC.

11 seasons with gosford city - wild guess at about 200 games. only about 7 goals in that time.
7 seasons with sydney university, another wild guess at about 100 games (more time injured as i get older!) and probably 15 goals (scoring more as i get older though! and better goals too! though two seasons goalless on the trot is a worry!).
won the 13b's with gosford in 1994.

All as keeper 11 year with Wyoming Tigers, only missed 1 game in the 1st 10 years through injury, and missed 6 games in the 11th year as not selected (1st/reserve grade squad). Do the math on games played. 1 goal scored, 79,000 conceded Grand final winner witness from the bench in that 11th year 1 year Gosford City Dragons, every game bar 8 through suspension. 0 goals scored, 29,000 conceded 1 year with Terrigal United, played only half the year as registered late and injury. 0 goals scored, 13,000 conceded Penalty save in shoot-out for the Donny Parks Cup

you sound like an good good keeper I save twice as many as I let in shut up fish 13 seasons = 121000 goals conceded by your own admission, yep, you're in Clint Bolton's class, Bear! Did Arnold give you a call and put you on standby for the Socceroos? ;D BTW, before you reply with your typical "Funny c**t", I will admit to only ever playing one game as goalie in about 9 seasons of football. And I never want to do that again.

can't compete with anyone here, wow 32 years is an unbelievable effort. my 'career' consists of 3 seasons with Killarney Districts in the early 1980s. I scored once in about 40 games and usually just stood or even sat on 1/2 way as a pack booted the ball around in the mud of the opposition's half. i'd occassionally hoof the ball back into the mix when it crossed half way. the only time we ever really lost was to the entrance as they actually could pass it and inluded damien brown.
i play 5-a-side weekly and there is talk of playing the neighbouring council again in a full game. you must all be fit bastards as i am dead after 1/2 an hour of 5-a-side
