Ante Milicic has just come out to the Newcastle media and said he is the "Andrew Johns of the A-League".
Liam Reddy is notoriously unstable.
Nick Carle is a loose cannon.
Whoever has to manage that team has a job ahead of them.
P.S Just noticed that egos is the abbreviation for East Gosford in our local competition - how appropriate.

Now Now Mick, Here I was thinking that there was no rivalry in the local comp Everyone needs a bit of self confidence although Andrew Johns II seems to be a little rich. I wonder if he is short with a big arse?

I wonder if he is short with a big arse? I'm sure if he is comparing himself to Andrew Johns he must like his E's as well. As for the local comp as someone at Southern Ettalong what he/she thinks of Umina!

Currently on 17 from the last Aussies Abroad press release from the ASA I would therefore put it to you that the press release from the ASA is wrong if it refers to Milicic scoring 17 league goals. I refer you to the official web site of the Malaysian Super League as follows for confirmation of him scoring 9 league goals in the recent season: www.fam.org.my/superframe.html (click on 'goalscorers'). It is of course possible that the other 8 goals have come from Cup competitions. Mind you, it doesn't change the fact that his signing is a good one for Newcastle United, and I think that is something we agree on.

A good signing for Uknighted Jets, however just wonder if he has a out clause, if El Tel doesn't come

Probably includes cup games as the ASA rarely gets these things wrong in aussies abroad

Just think, at least if your team turns out to be rubbish and you don't want to watch them play your chairman would be able to organise a good clean-up of the grounds...

Ian Kiernan's a hero if you ask me A hero he may be, but even if that's the case he's a hero who is best known for being a professional garbage collector.

A hero he may be, but even if that's the case he's a hero who is best known for being a professional garbage collector. I'd rather say he was well known before as being on Australia II that won the America Cup At the time he was well known as an entreprenuer with a host of proerty development that went broke and lost $30 million when interest rates hit 18% in the mid eighties. He was then known to make a successful come-back. He then used this high profile to become the face of Clean-up Australia. So, he was way well known before the 1990s.
