Hi,
Just wondering who plays in the central coast competition in this forum? Who do you play for and for how long have you played football for?
I am signing up this season in the All Age mens. Never played club level soccer before, so really looking forward to it.
Cheers

If you are interested in playing at our club send me a message on this board. There are a few supporters on this board that play for the club.

Hi Nightstalker I play for Ourimbah-University and played All Age 2 last season. If you are interested in playing at our club send me a message on this board. There are a few supporters on this board that play for the club. Is there much difference between the All Age groups from 1 to 7? Just not sure which group I would probably be put into at first. I guess it depends on the club and which groups they are fielding teams in. Its looks as though I will be playing at either Southern Ettalong, Umina or Woy Woy as they are down my end of the coast. Cheers

I suggest Woy Woy as there are too many in-breds and morons at the other two clubs.
There is not a huge difference between the all age grades.
The only difference is All Age One which has a better standard than Premier League Two at times.

Thanks for the tip!
I was actually eyeing off playing for Southern Ettalong as my brother has played with them for 5 years (juniors).
I know that many players in the juniors have jumped ship to rival clubs like Kincumber in recent years.
It also looks like we will be signing up my 4 year old daughter (turns 5 in July) to play as she is pretty keen.
Do you know if Woy Woy nurture their juniors very well?

Out of the three I would say Umina would nuture their juniors the best.

ummmm..... i have played cc for 11's and 12's and i made the squad for the 13's but it was to much to do with politics and stuff and they were about to go bust so i said i was goin to have a yr off to build my confidence and stuff like that so i rekon it is great playin club so far anyway. lol. but we are top of the table so can't complain.

Yeah my brother plays for Southern in the 13 E comp. They were dropped a division this year for some unknown reason as they finished just outside the top 4 last year.
This year they are kicking butt.... winning their first 5 games by thrashings (Theyve already scored like 33 goals this year) including a 10 - 0 victory last weekend against Tuggerah.
I dont understand how they grade the teams... I thought they would just relegate the team that finishes last or something.. similiar to the english premier league and the lower divisions.
I guess you can only aim to do well in the comp you are placed in. Alot of parents from opposition steams are whinging about it and I dont blame them really.... but they should be going crook at the association and not directing their comments at the club.

before i movied from the coast, i played for East Gosford and Gosford b4 playing for mingaralakers then playd for White eagles afta that. too be honest East gosford was probly the best club.. and also the central coast had a lot of quality young players... too bad there was alot of politics through out rep clubs on the central coast, its a shame, CC would have been a competitive team...

Yeah, good on you young Matt. At least then if you don't like what a ref is doing in a game your'e watching, if anyone says "you should try doing it! " you can say "I do !!"

I dont know much about the clubs up here as I am only relatively new on the coast. However I nterview a man from East Gosford Soccer Club called Paul Woodcock every week on my show. He is a lovely man who talks very passionately about the East Gosford club and seems to take a great deal of all players from all age groups in the club. Not entirely sure what his role is but If he is anything to gauge the club in I would suggest that they are a good one.
