A-League Tipping?

Hi All,

I'm a long time lurker but first time poster on your forum (which, incidentally, looks great).

Have you thought of running an A-League tipping competition?

Not sure if you guys have thought of running one but we have one set up and ready to go at our site, www.pintculture.com. Registrations are open now and you can sign up Here. You can test your skills against not only other Marinators fans but also fans of other A-League clubs to see who really is the top A-League tipper.

We've set up our site to celebrate all things beer, football and good times with great mates.

There was an earlier post about having a tipping comp on the Marinators web site is this still the case?

Looks like fun anyway so I'll give it a bash!

yeah, we should run our own tipping comp

$5 or $10 entry fee by depositing in the account

1st prize - 40% of winnings
2nd prize - 25%
3rd prize - 5%

30% to marinators account

I like the idea of $10 per person for our own tipping comp! The split for prize money is good too.

I did a premiership tipping comp this year on the net which gave you 3 points for an exact score tipped, 1 point if you guessed the right result but got the score wrong, and zero if you got it wrong, that seemed to work pretty well!

yeah that or at least 5points (as in one bonus point) if you get the whole round correct. Something to make it easier to bridge a gap of a decent size.
