Tonight's Andrew Denton's interview on 'Enough Rope' was a fantastic promotion for the code. He would have been a great Marinators patron, with the passion he showed for Sydney FC.
More of that sort of endorsement for the A-League would be worth it's weight in gold.

Nice guy too, happy to talk to fans and sign autographs but doesn't want to detract from the action, just loves his football. Can't believe he slipped up and called it soccer!

Remember he has been living in Major League Soccer land, and that sometimes they like to change it up just so (rugby) blockheads out there know what sport he is talking about. |

Yea but I think everyone would know what HE was talking about everyone knows the LaPaglia connection, die hards call it football whatever part of the world they are in.
