Danny & Chicken were in the squad, with Dippa & Boog's now added to it Mariner's fans should try and make there way up for this game, especially at $12 a tik.

I have it in Chinese video by Sopcast. Former BOTN writer Tony Tannous is updating his blog from the game: www.roundballanalyst.blogspot.com/31 mins in still 0-0 34 Williams speculator and panalty turned down for Oz 35 Milligan gives away free kick on edge of area - delays HT 0-0 Crowd looks much better than Adelaide ... well done Newy. I hope our lot get out on Wednesday night - I'll be there. Ads on Guandong TV don't look any different! 50' 1-0 Milligan header, off Sarkies corner 86' still 1-0 All over - a hard fought home win. See you all Wednesday night

Personally I was disappointed in Danny. he didn't shank a ball all night, just didn't feel right. Also disappointed in all the "fans" that went scurrying for cover when a little bit of rain started to fall. overall was a good result and they did what they needed to do to get the three points, but wasn't inspiring.

Watched the Olyroos and IMO the standard of play expecially in the first half was far supperior to the level of play dished up to us at most A league games. Admittedly the opposition didnt look that good. Danny hardly had anything to do all night until changes were made.
If you werent inpspired by the skill and composure of our younger players you are very hard pleased.
The centre back pairing of Milligan and Leiger was excellent all night. Musialik showed inteligence and great distribution from his defensive midfield position all night. Williams, Bridge, Topor-Stanley went very well as did Billy Celeski. Zadkocvic overdone it a couple of times.
My MOM Leiger
Would love to see this sqad play a select A league team.

I'm sorry that I wanted to see a performance that made me think we are likely to make the Olympics. That didn't for me, as I think qualification will come through goal difference or either ourselves or Iraq slipping up in a game, (quite possibly when we play each other in November)
Defensivley we were good, no question about that, and we were switching well. I still think we were a bit toothless up front but Djite seemed hard to contain when he came on. DPR Korea seemed to be pressuring our players while we seemed to want to hang off them at times.
Agree that to see them go up against an A-league select would be good and might be a very good idea before the Iraq game if we hope to qualify!

I agree Dru. Though I only had a small streaming window to see the game I thought our midfield was ordinary and that we weren't dominating chances as we should. With Iraq knocking 5 past Lebanon we need to at least equal that on Wednesday. I didn't get that feel from last nights game, though Zadkid couldn't miss another like that. Needs more Burns and Djite combo. I'm sorry that I wanted to see a performance that made me think we are likely to make the Olympics.
